The aftercare process is as important as the tattooing process. Please follow the instructions.

The tattooist will dress your new tattoo with cling film. Leave this on for a couple of hours. On removal of the dressing it is very important to wash well the tattoo with hot water and mild soap. Pat dry with kitchen towel and re-dress with cling film. The following morning, remove the dressing and wash the tattoo again, with hot or warm water and mild soap. Pat dry with kitchen towel. Once dry you can now lightly apply the healing cream onto your tattoo. I recommend Hustle Butter or Tattoo Goo.

You can wash your tattoo a couple of times a day and lightly apply the cream a few times a day. This will aid the healing process and prevent your tattoo from drying out. You can also re-wrap your tattoo with cling film each evening before going to bed to prevent it from sticking to the bedclothes.

DO NOT: rub, pick or scratch your new tattoo as this disrupts the tattoo as it’s healing and can cause scar tissue.

AVOID: swimming, sunbathing, saunas and baths for 2 weeks.

Please get in touch if you need any help or have questions about the aftercare process.
